The Beatles - The White Album (Alternate)

Released as "The Beatles" on November 22nd 1968, this double LP masterpiece proved that The Beatles could work together successfully once again and pull off something incredible. After a decorated trip to India and influences  from above and beyond, the Beatles returned to Abbey Road studios with inspiration and wisdom to keep the music going and flowing. At this point in their career, fans and critics alike expected the Beatles to put out great work no matter what, after countless top ten hits and #1 albums. After there in my opinion overdone "psychedelic segway" the fab four revived a bluesy rock sound so raw but pleasant. Many bands at this point were returning to the basics of music and writing simpler songs with influences of bluegrass, country and the growing genre folk rock. The black and white photos and simple texted cover represents a contrast and direction much simpler than that of the color filled Sgt. Peppers. With no singles released for the album this time around, the group looked to create a stand still representation of who and what the Beatles stood for by this point. Already experimenting with their own solo work expressed in songs like "Hey Jude", John's "Revolution" as well as George's heartwarming tune "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", the group shows both highlights in their own personal songwriting as well as a team effort in love of the music and with each other. This alternate 32 packed reboot of the album shows the powerful outtakes and songs made around this trembling time in late 1968. Song included in this alternate version not included on the original album are "Lady Madonna" the electric single version of "Revolution", "Not Guilty" an outtake with George Harrison on lead as well as "Hey Jude". My track listing is also different from the original, suiting how I feel the album should flow, following similar chord changes and transitions from their previous albums. "Dont Pass Me By" was removed because I felt like it was a filler track. Other than what is stated, all other tracks appear on the album.
